Zipper’s son gets 4 years on drug trafficking charge

Days after his father walked free on cocaine trafficking charges a son was sentenced for a similar offence.  

 

Today, Mark Gomes, the son of Andre Gomes called Zipper was sentenced to four years in prison on drug trafficking charges.

 

Gomes, 33 years along with two others Muhammad Kadir and Ryan Fowler were nabbed by the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit with five pounds of cocaine on Sheriff Street in April. The cocaine was found in a car. Gomes and Kadir pleaded not guilty while Fowler pleaded guilty. Fowler was sentenced in April.

 

Last week Zipper walked free on his charges after the prosecutor could not prove her case.
