The 31-year old man made his second court appearance today in the Sparendaam Magistrates’ court, before Magistrate Alisha George. Neibu Archer, of West Ruimveldt, is before the court for the murder of Trevor Dublin, a BK International Serviceman who was found dead a corner away from his home in Sophia. He was found in a pool of blood by a police patrol with a stab wound to his chest, back in June of this year. The accused, Neibu Archer was unrepresented and he told Magistrate George that he would have a lawyer by his next court appearance. The police prosecutor told the court that the polices’ investigation is completed, but advice from the DPP has not yet been sought, she requested time which was granted until the next court date which is set for October 3rd for a report.
Outside of the courtroom, Dublin’s wife said it has been a struggle for her and her children since her breadwinner was taken away from her.
The family is still to see the suspect face to face in the court, but they are thankful that the Police were able to solve the case.
