The Preliminary Inquiry into the murder of church elders Constance Fraser and Phyllis Caesar wrapped up today before Magistrate Judy Latchman. The Magistrate ruled that a prima facie case was established against the men accused murdering the women. She then committed Christopher Khan called Imran Khan, Steven Andrews and Phillip Sufferin to stand trial in the high court for the offence.
It was back in October last year when Constance Fraser, 89, and Phyllis Caesar, 77, two devoted members of the Full Gospel Assembly church on South Road were found bound and gagged in their
South Road and Albert Street home. That was after the men broke into their home and took away an undisclosed amount of cash and other items. The Post Mortem examination done by government pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh revealed that the women died from suffocation, manual strangulation and trauma to the head.
The police quickly cracked the case and arrested the suspects. The men are all from Albouystown.
