The Guyana Police force on Tuesday issued a wanted bulletin for Daniel Mc Lennon C/D “Dutty” of Rose Hall Town Corentyne Berbice.
According to a release from the police, Daniel is wanted for questioning in relation to a murder committed on Lomenzo Johnny known as “sham”.
The murder occurred between February 26th and 27th 2020 at Port Mourant, Corentyne Berbice. The businessman was discovered last Thursday at a construction site between some bushes a short distance away from his home in Rose hall. Four other men are currently in custody for the offence and the file was sent to the DPP for legal advice.
The Police cracked the case and were able to recover the safe that was taken from the businessman’s home with approximately 2 Million dollars in cash.
Police investigators believe that the man was pounced upon while he was doing his usual exercise routine along the street.
Mc Lennon is said to be the mastermind behind the murder and the police are asking anyone with information that may lead to his arrest and to contact the police on telephone numbers, 226-6978, 225-8196, 226-2870, 226-7065, 227-1149, 226-7065, 226-9834, 268-2298, 694-1664, 333-5564, 911 or the nearest police station.
The police say all information will be treated with the strictest confidence.
