Long standing member of the People’s National Congress Reform, Aubrey Norton, has been elected Leader of the party, beating his two opponents, current Opposition Leader Joseph Harmon and Richard Van West-Charles by a large margin. Norton won nine of the ten regions having amassed a total of 967 votes over Harmon’s 245 and Van West-Charles’ 64. Additionally, Shurwayne Holder, a member of Team Norton has been elected Chairman. Several members of Norton’s team won other top positions, following the tallying of the votes cast during the party’s elections and 21st Biennial Congress held yesterday.
