The suspect Ricardo Mitchell, age 30 yrs was wanted for the murder of Winston Robertson called High Rollers or Redman. The 30-year-old man was shot dead on August 10th, 2020.
The suspect was on the run since that incident.
According to a police report, acting upon information received, the Police went to a location in Cotton Tree, West Coast Berbice on Friday where the suspect was caught and arrested.
The police are reporting that the suspect was in a house in the back of the Village and when the police first arrived he attempted to flee but was caught in the cane fields.
