The incident occurred at Crane Old Road just after midnight and has left 34yr old mother of three Bibi Ali dead.She was stabbed multiple times about her body by the father of her three children who accused her of being unfaithful. 
The incident occurred at the couple’s Crane West Coast Demerara home.
Commander of D Division Simon Mc Bean told this newscast that the suspect has been arrested by the police. He said the suspected reportedly ingested a poisonous substance and is currently hospitalized under police guard. The couple have three children ages 19, 16 and 7 who had all retired to bed when the incident occurred, according to the commander.
