There are reports that cattle farmer Fazal Habibulla had alerted the police that persons were killing his cows at his ranch in the backdam of Abary and bringing out the meat for sale.
On Saturday, the suspect was caught with a gun and beef at Onverwagt Village West Coast Berbice.
Fazal Habibulla says he lost several animals during the month.
