The indictable charge of murder was this morning (May 17) read to Alvin Jones, called “hot skull” of Castello Housing Scheme, Georgetown. The accused appeared before Chief Magistrate, Ann McLennon, to answer the charge.
The court was told that on February 02, Jones murdered Paul Daniels at Independence Boulevard, Albouystown during a robbery.
Daniels had just dropped off his fiancee in Albouystown when he was riddled with bullets and had his gold chain taken by the bandits. The former GFC footballer died on his way to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Police prosecutor Arvin Moore told the court that the Police’s file is still to be completed. Jones was remanded to prison and will make his next court appearance on June 12th.
