President Irfaan Ali and his government got to work this morning with the first official meeting of his cabinet ministers.
That meeting was held at the Office of the President.
The President, before today’s cabinet meeting said that his government will be held accountable to the people of this country and that they would be results-oriented.
President Ali was sworn in on Sunday at the Arthur Chung Conference Center. He became Guyana’s 9th executive president. Ali’s Cabinet compromises of 22 Ministers, with the Finance Minister yet to be appointed.
