Four Colombians, one Venezuelan and two Guyanese charged for adding drug trafficker

Four Colombians and two Guyanese were today January 10, remanded to prison for aiding in trafficking of cocaine when they appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann Mclennan in the Georgetown Magistrates’ court. It is reported that between September 1, 2017, and January 2, 2018, at Gran Woodland Pomeroon, the men aided Gavin Adam to traffick 11.410 Kilograms of cocaine. 

Colombian Nationals Leison Sanchez, Jesus Ameya, Reginold Jonmalto,Widlinson Regez and Guyanese Ian Matthais and Troy Piper all pleaded not guilty to the charge and were refused bail. They were remanded until January 15th and the matter was transferred to the Charity Magistrates’ court.

And Venezuelan national Angelica Malove was also charged with the same offence for aiding Gavin Adams to traffick 11.410 kilograms of Cocaine, she too was remanded until January 15th after pleading not guilty to the charge.
