There are reports that Camp Street Jail Prison escapee, Urie Varswyck was reportedly killed in an exchange of gunshots with members of the Guyana Police Force.
On the run
Police operations manager, Clifton Hicken confirmed that an operation is currently ongoing and Royden Williams is currently on the run, the two men were spotted together in Linden. He could not confirm if Varswyck was killed at this point. He also confirmed that a weapon has been recovered from the scene of the shooting so far.
The two men escaped from the Camp Street Jail over a month ago.
