As Guyana is working on upgrading its main international airport one of the world’s largest commercial passenger carriers, the Boeing 777 landed at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport early this morning.
The aircraft which accommodates 378 passengers was charted by Fly Jamaica to ferry passengers from New York. The aircraft flew from New York to Jamaica with an onward connection to Guyana.
Over the next few days the aircraft will be landing at the CJIA until maintenance work is completed on the company’s regular aircraft.
