Dead is Raoul Archer. He was stationed at the Fort Wellington Police Station, West Coast Berbice.
According to a police report, the accident occurred about 18:00 hrs (Saturday 24th October) on Fellowship Public Road Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara and involved motor car PYY 2468 which was driven by Archer
and a parked trailer # PSS 8923 owner name and address unknown up to news time.
The police report added that their enquires disclosed that motor car # PYY 2468 was proceeding east along the northern lane at a fast rate when the driver lost control and collided with the parked trailer.
Police investigations into the accident is ongoing.
