Guyana’s COVID-19 death toll continues to rise with three more deaths recorded today bringing the total now to 98.
According to a Ministry of Health press release, the latest fatalities are a
41-year-old female, a 64-year-old male, both from Region 4
(Demerara-Mahaica) and a 58-year-old male from Region 1 (Barima-Waini).
The Ministry said the three persons died while receiving care at their medical facility.
Meanwhile, Guyana today recorded 104 new COVID-19 cases bringing the total of confirmed cases to 3292. 15 persons are currently in the COVID-19 ICU, while 2,084 persons have recovered from the virus.
