Another twist to the March 2nd General and Regional Elections with the Caribbean Court of Justice today ruling that it has jurisdiction to hear the Appeal filed by Jagdeo and Ali.
The CCJ also ruled that the Court of Appeal had no jurisdiction to entertain the matter filed by Eslyn David who was seeking an interpretation of article 177:2 which says most votes counted.
The CCJ also ruled that Chief Elections Officer Keith Lowenfield’s report was invalid, which was prepared based on valid votes and submitted to the Chairman of GECOM.
