Tyrone Rowe, called ‘Cobra’, who was convicted and sentenced to 78 years in prison by Justice Navindra Singh for a murder he committed in 2010 will reappear in court on Monday. This was after the Appeal Court overturned his conviction and sentencing.
The once notorious criminal appeared before Justice Sandil Kissoon in the High Court this morning, where he was told that the retrial date was set and a 12 man jury is to be selected.
‘Cobra’, reportedly killed Troy Collymore in August of 2010.
Collymore was shot to the head outside of a business place at Plaisance. The man was at the time in the presence of two friends, when gunmen pounced on him. Collymore was shot and robbed of cash and jewelry. He succumbed to his injuries days later.
