Commander of B Division, Linden Alves said the breakthrough was due to diligent and persistent work that was based on additional information gathered by Police investigators. Two months ago businessman Saeed Hamid aka “Saho” went missing after he left Queenstown, Corriverton, Berbice. According to Hamid’s sons, neighbours told them that the man was last seen going into a car.

The victim’s smaller son recalled that his father spoke about going up to Rosignol to do some business.
Afraz, the older son said no one knows exactly where his father went, with whom he was doing business with, who he traveled with or who he was going to meet.
