The Police in a release to the media said the second suspect in custody has admitted to committing the crime. According to the Police, the suspect took investigators to a location at Fifth Street, Alberttown, where he handed over several items belonging to the victim as well as a knife suspected to be the murder weapon.
Neil Whyte, was employed with the Aurora Gold Mine Company as a manager. Whyte was found naked on a bed in the Third floor apartment of the Company’s Thomas Street Headquarters on Tuesday morning. His body had multiple stab wounds. There are reports that the discovery was made shortly after a male who visited Whyte left the location.
The Post Mortem examination conducted by Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh at the GPHC gave the cause of death as Multiple Stab Wounds.
Whyte’s body has since been handed over to relatives for cremation at a later date the police release say.
