The owner of a car rental service was today released on bail over an allegation of fake imitation of identification markings on three vehicles.
The man, Osafa Yarde of K&O Car Rental appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore to answer three counts of fraudulently using a forged chassis number of three vehicles between March 19 and 21, 2018.
The man who resides at Lodge Housing Scheme denied the Charge. His attorney Glen Hanoman in his bail application told the court that his client paid a man $2.5 million each for the vehicles for which he was given an agreement of sale.
Despite the prosecutor’s objection, the man was released on $300,000 and is expected to make his second court appearance on May 30.
