Arlene Tyndall the woman who was battling cervical cancer took her last breath on Saturday as she lost her fight to the disease.
You would recall when Arlene told her story, Guyanese both home and abroad were moved by her circumstances and the outpouring of love and financial support lifted her spirit.
Her family said she took a turn for the worse a few days ago and never made it back.
The cancer was at its worst stage.
Her husband and other relatives are coming together to bid her farewell.
The woman leaves to mourn 5 children.
