A seventy-seven year old businessman today lost his life in an early morning fire on Main Street. The dead man has been identified as Yousuf Sankar, the owner of Raisins photocopy Center. The body was discovered by police and fighters after the flames were extinguished.
Sankar according to reports was trapped in the building while another resident was rescued by presidential guards attached to the Prime Minister’s residence next door. Sankar shared the property with his wife and two children. The Fire Department is continuing its investigation to ascertain the cause of the fired.
