Former Attorney General & Minister of Legal Affairs, Anil Nandlall believes that members of the Special Organized Crime Unit (SOCU) are on the verge of searching his home today (June 27).
The basis of his claim is unsubstantiated but he went as far as securing an injunction from the court which will legally prevent SOCU investigators from searching his Bel Air Park Georgetown home.
Nandlall also called in the media, his People’s Progressive Party (PPP) comrades and supporters to bar SOCU officials from entering his home to remove several law books which belong to the state.
Nandlall took those books while the PPP was in power and he was recently charged for taking possession of the state’s property after he reportedly refused to return them.
