A Better Hope, East Bank Demerara man was today remanded to prison for the murder of his son Azeen Khan called Orlando.
The man, 40-year-old Omar Khan appeared in the Sparendaam Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Alisha George, where he was not required to plead to the capital offence.
The police prosecutor told that court that the police have not yet completed the file. The Unrepresented Khan will make his next court appearance on June 28.
Reports are that the 18-year-old was involved in a heated argument with his father, so later dealt him a blow to his head with a piece of wood.
