On the 3rd of March 2023, CANU Officers conducted an operation at a property located at Festival City, North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, where they intercepted one male with two (2) hardcover suitcases in his possession. A subsequent search of the suitcases in the presence of the suspect revealed a quantity of whitish powdery substance suspected to be cocaine.
Royston Peniston, 44 years, of the said address was arrested and escorted to CANU Headquarters where a further search of both suitcases led to the discovery of two (2) parcels suspected to also be cocaine. The suspected narcotic, tested positive for cocaine and weighed approximately 5 lbs. (2.178kg) with a street value of GUY $2.1 Million.
