Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum has confirmed that murder suspect Hilton Oliver Junior Franklin has given a confession statement to police investigators on the killing of doctor Collin Roach. Blanhum also confirmed that the suspect said that he inflicted the fatal wounds found on the doctor. Blanhum did not give any further details on the ongoing investigations.
Prime suspect in doctor’s murder arrested while attempting to flee to neighbouring Suriname.
The Guyana Police Force has arrested the prime suspect in the murder of doctor Colin Roach this morning at Springlands on the Corentyne, Berbice. The man was arrested as he was attempting to leave by boat through the backtrack route to Suriname.
