The search is on for three gunmen who robbed a Kitty gold dealership of millions of dollars in cash and raw gold.

Three masked men this morning executed a daring multi-million dollar robbery in Gordon Street Kitty at the Wallison Enterprise. According to the police, the bandits robbed a 20-year-old female cashier and a
45-year-old goldsmith oF $38M GYD and sixty ounces of raw gold valued at $20M GY, two cellular phones – one valued at three hundred thousand dollars and the other at sixty thousand dollars.

The men were armed with handguns. The building is very secured and is usually manned by security personnel with high-powered weapons. Surveillance cameras are also installed around the building. It also has security around the building.
When reporters arrived on the scene, police investigators were in and out of the location conducting their investigations. The entire ordeal was captured on surveillance camera, part of which was shared with reporters.

The police are reporting that their initial investigations have revealed that the victims were on duty when the three suspects who came in a white car, parked north of the building, and entered the compound through the main gate after indicating to the security guard that they were there to sell gold.

The suspects then entered the waiting area where they spoke to the cashier and showed her a small package which they claimed contained gold to sell. The men then immediately drew their firearms, pointing them at her, ordered her into an office where the money and gold were secured.
In the same office, the other victim and another man were also held at gunpoint. The suspects then ordered the victims to open the two (2) metal safes, after which they bound the hands of the victims with zip ties. They then took away the victims’ phones, money, and gold before locking them in the office then made good their escape.
The cashier raised an alarm, alerting the security guard who came to her rescue by kicking open the door, the police said.
The Police are currently looking at the surveillance footage and will be examining the fingerprints gathered from the scene. The security guard was also taken into custody.
