Prison escapee Kevin LaFleur is back behind bars days after he escaped from the Mazarui Prison.
According to a police report, the LaFleur was recaptured just after 11:30 last night at Ankerville, Port Mourant Corentyne Berbice. The police acting on information, a party of policemen went to a home in Ankerville Port Mourant and arrested identified escaped prisoner Kevin LaFleur. The suspect gave his name as Mark Thomas but was positively identified. He was arrested and is presently in custody at Central Police Station, New Amsterdam.
The 25-year-old convict escaped from the Mazarui Prison on Friday 11th of April.
